TM 600.88 Course Requirements
Grading
Your final grade will be based on several indicators of performance:
The course is divided into four modules. Each module will contain instructional materials developed by me, a list of references for you to read, and an individual assignment for you to complete biweekly.
Working in groups, you will propose the development of an innovation, applying the principles of technology management. The project will result in a written report and a class presentation, both due May 31.
The primary grading criterion on the project assignments will be the extent to which the concepts presented in the course are correctly applied in the report. Other criteria will include the completeness, organization, and clarity of materials turned in for the assignment. You and your group members will evaluate each others contribution to the group project. These evaluations will be factored into your participation grade.
Class Participation
Although the delivery of the course content will be largely Internet-based, your active participation is essential, because of:
the knowledge you can share to help your classmates
the perspective you can lend to improve the course
the experience you can gain to express your ideas.
This participation can be manifest in three ways: in the electronic newsgroups, in the group projects, in the class discussions.
