Frequently Asked Questions


Q. Do any of the items sold by The Yard Sale come with a warranty?
A. There is typically no warranty provided with used products.  If, however, you believe that the item you bought from us was not accurately represented at the time of sale, we will be glad to buy the item back from you for half of the purchase price.

Q. How do I find your place?
A. A map and directions are provided on the directions page.

Q. When are you open?
A. Every fourth weekend of the month.  From 7:30 am to 6:00pm Friday and 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday.

Q. Do you sell stolen property?
A. Currently, we have no plans to expand our product offerings.

Q. Can you locate special request items?
A. Because we work with a network of people in the southeast, it is often possible to fill special requests.  We can't guarantee 100% success but come by or contact us and we'll see what can be done.

Q. If most of your inventory came from other yard sales, why should I pay you a mark-up?

A. We have a greater amount and variety of items at our location than can be found at the typical family yard sale.  Because we can typically negotiate a lower price than the average shopper, our mark-up rarely brings the price above fair market value.
