Lengwe National Park-The
only place to stay in the park is the main camp situated about
1km from the entrance gate, where you can either stay in a chalet
or pitch your own tent. Self catering facilities and cooks, if
required, are provided. Although there is a small grocery store,
supplies can often be low so it's advisable to bring supplies
with you.
Lake Malawi National
Park -The is a variety of lakeshore accommodation in this area.
Danforth Yachting
An up-market, owner run Yacht Charter and luxury guest house at
Cape Maclear on the shores of Lake Malawi.
Chembe
Lodge
Situated on the beach in Cape Maclear, 4 hours drive from Blantyre
or Lilongwe. The accommodation is in walk-in tents and meals are
served on one communal table. Chembe Lodge is a place where one
meets new people from all around the world and leaves with a group
of new friends.
Sun
'N' Sand
Located 24km north of Mangochi,a three hour drive from Blantyre
and four hours from Lilongwe. has 240 beds in single, two, three-bedroomed
chalets, suites, bungalows and rondavels. Sat in the landscaped
tropical gardens, all rooms have en-suite facilities while some
of the large units have two bathrooms, lounges and even Kitchens
for those who wish to self-cater. A campsite is being developed
for the more adventurous.

Cottage
a private cottage on the shores of Lake Malawi. With four bedrooms,
two of which are ensuite, it houses a maximum of 8 adults. There
is a large living room and dining area, and a bar with a panoramic
view of the lake. The cottage is run on a self-catering basis,
however there is a cook available to help.

slower here, you can do as you please. Close your eyes and you
hear the call of a fish eagle, laughter, the lapping of the Lake
on a sandy shore. Open them and gaze across the sparkling Lake
at a distant island, a faraway shore, an infinite blue sky.
