B.E.E., Cornell University

Dr. William McNay has extensive experience in many different kinds of product and service industries, including motors, instrumentation, aerospace, and consulting.  In these businesses, he served in various managerial and executive positions. 

Dr. McNay completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees from The University of Pennsylvania.  His Ph.D. dissertation topic is still of major interest in his current academic life and focuses on concepts and application of leadership in the highly competitive and modern world. 

Working with members of the Academy of Management and The Society for Advancement of Management, Dr. McNay’s current research is an in-depth study of the evolution of management thought and practices, and how this knowledge can help new entrants into the field of management maximize their potential for leadership.
