Zhu Rong was the wife of the Nanman king Meng Hou and claimed to be the descendant of the god of fire, also named "Zhu Rong". Historically she was the only woman to fight alongside the men, wielding a flying sword. She was captured by Wei Yan and Ma Dai during Shu's campaign against the Nanmans, but was released by Zhuge Liang.
