Solar Cells IBC EWT S'HIT STAR

  • There are several ways to make a Solar cell. The most cost effective and industrial process is the Screen printing technology. This technology is widely used in photovoltaic industry today.

  • Another way of manufacturing a solar cell is through several high temperature steps and masking steps, which drive the cost of the end product very high and hence makes this photolithography process not manufacturable. Although there are a few industries that use some combination of this technology in their process sequence.

  • There are several other ways as shown on the left bar to make high efficiency solar cells all of which have great potentials to become industrial processes in the near future.
