the ladies group

The lady in charge of this ministry team is Chantelle Adkins-Cody.  She is the one who does the scheduling and organizing of the group.  For the most part, all women brainstorm for ideas of things to do within the group. 

Recently, the ladies had a tea.  Colleen Jones prepared a magnificent spread of fruits and pastries with many different teas.  We dined on fine china and socialized at the church.  It was a wonderful experience. 

Another task that was tackled by the ladies was the sewing of the new pew cushions.  For a long time we have been in need of new cushions.  After a generous donation by Jason & Tammy Crawford of cushions they purchased, some of the ladies got together to cut and sew the cushions to fit the pews at the church.  It's been a great "comfort" to everyone! 

Other activities that have taken place are helping at a Friend's House and cooking or donating food to families in need.
